asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he intends to reply to correspondence received by his Department from a solicitor (details supplied) in Dublin 4 in early June 1987 in relation to the employment by his Department of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

I assume this question refers to a letter which was copied to my Department by the solicitor concerned on 27 May 1987. That letter was addressed to the Chief State Solicitor and is being dealt with by him.
