Cork free port question transfer

Summary

Barry sought to raise a question about the Taoiseach’s statement on Cork’s free port, saying it had been omitted from the Order Paper and transferred to the Minister for the Marine. The Chair said questions are not transferred by the Chair and ruled the exchange disorderly.

Before you move on to the next Question, may I raise a matter with you?

Sorry, Deputy. It is disorderly to interrupt Questions. If the Deputy has a point of order to make, he ought to wait until the Order of Business.

I had a question down to the Taoiseach which does not appear on the Order Paper and has been transferred by you to the Minister for the Marine. It relates to a statement made by the Taoiseach on 5 February last about the free port in Cork.
