asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will make funds available to a member of the Kiltegan Fathers (details supplied) in County Wicklow for a major development project in Kenya.

The funds available in 1988 under my Department's co-financing scheme with non-governmental organisations had all been allocated when the project referred to in the Deputy's question was submitted for assistance. In the circumstances it was not possible to provide funds for this particular project.
