asked the Minister for the Marine if he will make funds available to Cork County Council in order to carry out major repairs to the breakwater at Ballycotton, County Cork which is in a dangerous condition.

I have not received any application from Cork County Council for State assistance towards the cost of repairing the breakwater which is primarily a matter for the county council.
