asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the Meenagory group water scheme, Buncrana, County Donegal; and the reason for the delay in the completion of the scheme.

A provisional allocation of £10,000 in grants for this scheme was made on 16 May 1988. I understand from Donegal County Council, who are responsible for the administration of group schemes activity in the county, that work has not started on the scheme.
