asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs when he will produce his first six-monthly report on measures taken in his Department to eliminate discrimination against women as announced in the EC publication Women of Europe and the form its publication will take.

The first 6-monthly progress report on measures to advance the position and status of women within my area of responsibility, which will cover the period to June 1988, is due to be submitted to the Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach in July 1988.
