Gerard Collins Minister for Justice (Mr. Collins) Fianna Fáil

The first six-monthly report on measures to advance the status of women within my area of responsibility, which will cover the period to the end of June 1988, is due to be submitted to the Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach in July, 1988. Publication is a matter for the Minister of State.

John P. Wilson Minister for Tourism and Transport (Mr. Wilson) Fianna Fáil

My Department and I are not aware of any discrimination against women in transport arrangements. I have notified the Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach, Deputy Maire Geoghegan-Quinn, to that effect.
