asked the Minister for Energy the number of women who have been appointed to state boards or other such bodies directly under his control since he took office; and the percentage of the total such appointments this represents, as well as the total number of men appointed.

Since the Government took office, there have not as yet been any women appointments to the State boards under my Department's aegis. During that period there have been 18 board appointments, eight of whom were duly elected worker directors.
