asked the Minister for Finance the number of women who have been appointed to State boards or other such bodies directly under his control since he took office; and the percentage of the total such appointments this represents, as well as the total number of men appointed.

Since this Government took office 14 appointments have been made to State boards or other such bodies directly under my aegis. Of these appointments, one was a woman, representing 7 per cent of the total.
