asked the Minister for Finance the investigation, if any, which has been conducted into the leaking of and publication in a report (details supplied) of an internal and confidential paper prepared by his Department on property tax; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply given by the Minister for the Environment on 26 October last to his question regarding the leaking of a confidential report on property tax. As there was no separate internal confidential document prepared in my Department, the question of an investigation does not arise.
