asked the Minister for Finance when he will announce the national development plan for the expenditure of the enhanced structural funds which will become available to this country.

It is expected that Ireland's development plan for EC structural fund purposes will be completed early in 1989. No decision has yet been taken with regard to the publication of the plan.
