asked the Minister for the Environment when money will be made available from his Department for an extension to the Kinvara water scheme, County Galway.

Contract documents for the Kinvara water supply improvement scheme are with my Department at present.

Having regard to the capital available in the current year and in 1989 for the sanitary services programme, it is not possible, at this stage, to indicate when the necessary finance will be available for this scheme.
