The figure referred to by the Deputy relates to income from self-employment and other trading income, which according to the CSO's Advance Estimate of Output, Input and Income in Agriculture 1988, published on 5 December, is estimated at £1,584 million in 1988, which represents a 17.1 per cent increase on the 1987 level of £1,353 million.
