asked the Minister for Social Welfare when his Department and the Department of Education will implement the education opportunities scheme nationwide.

The educational opportunities scheme is continuing in the two pilot locations of Limerick city and Tallaght, County Dublin for the current academic year. The scheme is to be extended to ten other centres around the country as soon as the necessary arrangements have been made by the Department of Education.
