asked the Minister for the Environment when it is envisaged that work will commence on the building of a new fire station at Skerries, County Dublin.

The preliminary proposals submitted have been the subject of correspondence and of discussion between officers of my Department and of the fire authority. The submission of revised proposals by the fire authority is awaited.
