asked the Minister for the Environment when it is envisaged that work will commence on the building of a new library at Skerries, County Dublin.

This is primarily a matter for Dublin County Council. Plans and specifications for the proposed library were approved in February 1987. No further proposals for construction of the library have been received from the county council.
