asked the Minister for the Environment if work on the building of a new fire station at Skerries, County Dublin will commence during 1989.

As indicated in my reply of 8 February 1989, to a Parliamentary Question by the Deputy on this matter, the submission of revised proposals by the fire authority is awaited. In the circumstances I am not in a position to indicate when a stage might be reached where work on the building of the station might commence.
