asked the Minister for Energy when payment of a grant for supply of electricity under the western package will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

The application has been approved by my Department. The ESB will be in touch with the applicant in the near future to quote him subsidised terms for supply. As soon as the applicant notifies the ESB of his acceptance of these terms he will be placed on their work programme and his premises will be connected in due course.
