The Taoiseach said the committee appointment was under active consideration, without giving a decision date.
On the last day on which the Taoiseach dealt with this matter of the European City of Culture 1991 he indicated that a Government decision would be taken very shortly with regard to the appointment of an organising committee. Would he indicate to the House when that decision will be taken?
