Ferry port passenger and vehicle figures
The Deputy requested passenger, private-car and articulated-vehicle counts for each Irish ferry port over three years. The reply provided available CSO vehicle figures, mainly for 1985–1987, but passenger figures were unavailable for confidentiality reasons; the Chair then moved to Priority Questions.
asked the Taoiseach in respect of each Irish ferry port: (a) the number of passengers who used each port, (b) the number of private cars which used each port and (c) the number of articulated vehicles which used each port, for each of the past three years.
