The Department has received no proposal from Kerry County Council and would assess any application against its programme and limited funding.
asked the Minister for the Marine if he will make a grant available to Kerry County Council towards the provision of a pier and improvement of a slipway at Lehid, Tuos-ist Post Office, Killarney, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department have not, to date, received any proposal from Kerry County Council in regard to improvement works at Lehid pier. Any such proposal would have to be considered in the context of my Department's existing programme of works and the many calls upon the limited resources available for fishery harbour development.
