asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding a request with her Department for a concessionary teacher for St. Paul's national school, Lisduggan, County Waterford; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I am glad to inform the Deputy that both St. Paul's senior and St. Paul's junior boys national schools, Lisduggan, were recently granted a concessionary teaching post each under the scheme for schools serving disadvantaged areas. My Department have informed the boards of management of both schools of this decision.
