asked the Minister for the Environment if there are any proposals for amber lighting on the national primary route at Kilmeaden, County Waterford; and, if so, when sanction will be forthcoming.

Proposals for the provision of traffic route lighting at Kilmeaden have been submitted to my Department by Waterford County Council and are under examination. A decision on the proposals will be made as soon as possible.
