48 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Defence if it is intended that the newly elected Army Representatives Association will have an early meeting with him or his officials with a view to determination of procedures in relation to future discussions which might be necessary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have arranged to meet the newly elected national representatives of (a) officers and (b) non-commissioned officers and privates of the Permanent Defence Force on tomorrow, 6 July, 1990.
