197 Mr. Wyse asked the Minister for Education the number of vacant teacher posts in Cork city and county for, (a) primary schools, (b) secondary schools, (c) vocational schools, and (d) third level colleges.

My Department do not keep records of vacancies occurring during the course of a school year. It is a matter for the individual institutions to fill vacancies within approved allocation as they arise.
