152 Mrs. Fennell asked the Minister for Health if the information on the number of primary school and secondary school children currently on waiting lists for operations for tonsils and adenoids, eyes and ears and the length of time they have to wait for these operations, promised in his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 202 of July 1991, is now available; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department is at present processing the information submitted by hospitals following their completion of the validation of waiting lists. This information includes details on the number of children awaiting ENT and Opthalmic procedures.

When the data is collated and the examination completed I will be in touch with the Deputy in the matter.
