98 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Defence if it is proposed to bring the strength of the Defence Forces up to full complement; and, if so, when it is proposed to start recruitment for this purpose.

The question of further recruitment to the Permanent Defence Force is kept under review in the light of operational requirements.
