Brian Cowen Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications (Mr. Cowen) Fianna Fáil

I propose to take Questions Nos. 195 and 196 together. The re-opening and upgrading of rail lines and the provision of rolling stock on any particular line of the mainline and commuter rail network are matters falling within the day to day administration of Iarnród Éireann. Accordingly I have no function in these matters.
