Objection to handling of Priority Questions

Summary

Deenihan objected to how his questions were being taken and said he would complain to the Procedure and Privileges Committee; the Ceann Comhairle rebuked him for interrupting, and McCreevy quipped that the Chair was tougher than two Cork footballers.

Seán Treacy An Ceann Comhairle Independent

The questions we are about to embark on are Priority Questions for which 20 minutes only is provided in Standing Orders.
