Taoiseach’s question time procedure

Summary

The Ceann Comhairle notes the 30-minute limit for Taoiseach’s questions and corrects a duplicated question on the Order Paper.

Seán Treacy An Ceann Comhairle Independent

Before calling on the Taoiseach to reply to the questions tabled I wish to remind Members that under Standing Orders the time allowed for Taoiseach's questions may not exceed 30 minutes on Tuesdays, after which time I will be required to call the first question nominated for priority. I also want to draw Members' attention to the fact that Question No. 1 on today's Order Paper was also inadvertently reproduced as Question No. 9. The correct version of Question No. 9 appears on the Supplementary Order Paper circulated to Members earlier today.
