179 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the need to correct the fault in the Carndonagh sewerage scheme system which has been causing a pollution problem for a number of years; if he will make a special grant available towards the cost of repairing this scheme at the earliest possible date in view of scarcity of finance experienced by Donegal County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13214/95]

My Department has raised certain questions on the revised preliminary report for this scheme submitted by Donegal County Council. The county council's response is awaited.
