Priority question procedures
Andrews objects that disallowed priority questions understate his party’s concern about tourism and trade, calling the procedures archaic. The Ceann Comhairle defends them, and the Minister suggests addressing the issue through Dáil reform.
I have no desire to be contentious but I wish to clarify a point. I put down a number of priority questions which were disallowed for various reasons. The fact that there are two priority questions only from my party today should not be taken as an indication of our input to Question Time or of our concern about tourism and trade matters.
