94 Mr. Hyland asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the funding, if any, he is providing in the 1996 Estimates for the payment of headage premia for deer farming in Ireland. [1522/96]

The inclusion of deer in the 1996 headage schemes is still under consideration. In the event of a favourable outcome, funding will be available from within the global provision for all headage schemes.
