Byrne asked the Minister for Finance the progress to date, future plans and timetable in relation to providing buildings or office space for the expected transfer of his Department to Johnstown Castle, County Wexford; if financial provision has been made for these works; if not, when it will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I assume the Deputy is referring to the proposed transfer of Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry staff to Wexford.

Work is expected to commence on site within three to our months and to be complete in the second half of next year.
