107 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the total amount paid out in 1996 under the various agricultural income supports to County Mayo farmers; the total number of farmers in County Mayo; the number of farmers who receive less that £1,000, £2,000, £3,000, £4,000 and £5,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The latest data available from the Central Statistics Office shows that there were 14,908 farms in County Mayo in 1991.
