115 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when the Control of Horses Act will commence in view of the fact that the situation on Dublin's northside is virtually out of control; and the financial and other resources which will be made available to local authorities under the Act. [4799/97]

125 Mr. E. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the stage of the Control of Horses Act, 1996; when it will be fully implemented; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4645/97]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 115 and 125 together.
