Information relating to (1) the number of extradition warrants received from the United Kingdom authorities and (2) refusal of extraditions sought by those authorities in 1994 and 1995 is contained in the annual reports on the operation of Part III of the Extradition Act, 1965, for those years. Both reports are available in the Dáil Library. Equivalent information will be included in the 1996 report. Information already collated for the purpose of the 1996 report indicates that 97 warrants were received from the United Kingdom authorities in that year for backing under Part III of the 1965 Act.
