168 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Education if she will make funds available to DCU to allow it develop the St. Clare land in view of the absence of sports facilities at DCU and the local need for playing space. [5868/97]

My Department has received an application from DCU for funding towards the cost of developing sports facilities on the St. Clare land.
