‹ Ceisteanna—Questions. Priority Questions. Request to watch Cheltenham Gold Cup
Summary
Power asked to suspend the sitting so Members could watch the race; the Ceann Comhairle said he lacked authority to do so.
On a point of order, would it be appropriate to suspend the sitting for ten minutes at 3.15 p.m. so that Members might watch the Cheltenham Gold Cup on television?
Comment on this
I wish I could facilitate the Deputy but it is not within my power or authority to do so. Doubtless he will receive news about the race shortly and I hope he backed the winner
