Enacted

No. 13 of 1997 ›

Hugh Coveney Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Coveney)

I move:

That the Bill be referred to the Select Committee on Legislation and Security pursuant to Standing Order 109 (i) and paragraph 1 (iii) of that committee's terms of reference.

John Browne Acting Chairman (Mr. Browne, Fine Gael

Carlow-Kilkenny): We will now deal with matters selected for the Adjournment.

Comment on this

On a point of order, I can move my matter on the Adjournment now but my colleagues were under the impression that the House would sit until 10.30 p.m. Could the House adjourn for ten minutes to allow Deputies to come to the House?

Acting Chairman

A telephone call has been made to inform Deputies that the sitting has finished early, so they will probably all arrive soon.
