Walsh asked the Minister for Education if she will finance teaching hours for Deonagh which is a project attached to the probation service based in Fettercairn house and which deals with youths from that area and enables them to explore their talent, in view of the fact that County Dublin vocational education committee have accepted the need for these hours; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department has sanctioned part-time hours for this project for the current school year.

The matter will be reviewed for the 1997-98 school year.
