92 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the stage of the Corlurgan national school project; when tenders will be invited in respect of this building; if funding will be provided for this project in 1997; when construction work will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13079/97]

Architectural planning for the proposed building programme at Corlurgan national school is at an advanced stage and the documentation required for the tender process is being prepared. It is not possible at this stage to indicate when tenders will be invited or construction is expected to commence.
