John O'Donoghue Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue) Fianna Fáil

I am informed by the Garda authorities that details regarding the number of prosecutions taken for riding bicycles without lights in respect of 1998 to date are not readily available.

However, statistics for previous years are published in the annual report of the Garda Síochána copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library.
