39 Mr. McGahon asked the Minister for Public Enterprise when the independent investigation into the Aer Lingus Viscount crash at Tuskar Rock will be completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22487/00]

The international investigators are currently making further inquiries with air accident, aviation authority, aircraft manufacturer and Ministry of Defence officials in the UK. A notice was also placed in the national newspapers appealing to any person with knowledge of the accident to contact the international investigators.

I expect that the report of these inquiries will be presented to me in early December 2000.
