578 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 294 of 27 March 2001, consideration of the report of the interdepartmental working group on guidelines for local authority/private partnership provision of water leisure facilities has been completed by his Department; and when finalised guidelines are due for publication on these public private partnerships. The report of the interdepartmental working group established to develop guidelines and advise on the other key issues for the operation of a public private partnership approach to swimming pools is currently under consideration in my Department.
