Disallowed questions to the Taoiseach
Quinn challenged the ruling of three questions about the Attorney General as out of order and asked whether the Chair had received instructions; the Chair denied receiving instructions and directed him to discuss the matter privately.
I wish to seek clarification from the Leas-Cheann Comhairle in respect of questions that were disallowed. I do not wish to be disruptive but I had submitted a question to the Taoiseach on actions taken by the Attorney General. I was under the impression the Taoiseach was accountable for matters relating to the Office of the Attorney General—
