Health service funding and difficulties

Summary

The Taoiseach cites increased health funding and staffing while acknowledging that difficulties remain; members interject that patients are suffering and getting sicker.

On health matters, I repeat that the Department of Health and Children has received an extra €900 million this year, which is an increase of 34%? Its staff numbers have increased from 68,000 to 96,000.
