291 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Finance if he will clarify the tendering arrangements for the recent erection of signage for the Government offices at Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim; if companies in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland were asked to tender; the outcome of the tender; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Commissioners of Public Works have informed me that they have leased a fully fitted out building for the Department of Social & Family Affairs in Carrick-on-Shannon. Accordingly, the issue of signage, including the erection thereof, is a matter for the landlord.
