McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of staff who have transferred to her Department under the decentralisation CAF or DCAF schemes and who have found that they must make a further move to another section within six months of their Departmental transfer; the effect such moves have on staff morale; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will be aware my Department is not one of the Departments earmarked for decentralisation under the Civil Service Decentralisation Programme. However the Deputy may wish to note that under the decentralisation programme thirty civil servants have transferred to other Government Departments from my Department to date.
