36 Deputy Noel Ahern asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding hip and similar bone related procedures normally carried out in Beaumont Hospital; if she will confirm that no such operations have taken place for some weeks now; the reason for same; when the replacement equipment will be provided and the reason for the delay of the provision of same; if the lack of equipment is as a result of a financial, managerial or indeed equipment failure and if she will give a target date for matters to be back to normal.
